Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 17.10.2026

1. Our commitment to accessibility

At Israsky we attach top priority to providing equal, respectful, and accessible service to everyone, including people with disabilities, in accordance with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013 (Section C: Internet Services, Regulation 35).

The Mabitim website (mabitim.com) is designed and built to comply with Israeli Standard ת"י 5568 Part 1 at level AA (which adopts the WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines), and additionally incorporates enhanced accessibility adjustments from WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

2. Accessibility adjustments implemented on the site

  • Full keyboard navigation: all sections, navigation links, the language switcher menu, buttons, and form controls can be operated entirely by keyboard (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Escape) with no keyboard traps, a high-contrast focus indicator (:focus-visible), and a "Skip to main content" link at the very top of every page.
  • Colour contrast and non-reliance on colour: normal text maintains a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background (3:1 for large text and UI components). Information is never conveyed by colour alone — every colour indicator is paired with a text label or icon.
  • 200% zoom and responsive reflow: the site supports text and page zoom up to 200% and reflows cleanly down to a 320px viewport width without horizontal scrolling or loss of content or functionality.
  • Semantic structure and screen-reader support: pages follow a strict heading hierarchy (H1–H3), landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer), data tables with explicit row and column headers (scope="col", scope="row"), and text descriptions for figures and charts.
  • Motion and animation controls: in accordance with Criterion 2.2.2, a visible Pause/Play button ("Pause animation") is provided alongside the hero demonstration. When the operating system's "reduce motion" preference (prefers-reduced-motion: reduce) is active, automatic animations are disabled on load.
  • Accessible forms and clear error recovery: every waitlist form input has a visible <label>, format hint, and descriptive error message announced immediately to screen readers (role="alert", aria-invalid, aria-describedby) explaining how to fix the input.
  • Four languages and bidirectional isolation: the site is available in Hebrew (he) and Arabic (ar) in right-to-left (RTL) layout, and in Russian (ru) and English (en) in left-to-right (LTR) layout, with proper bidirectional isolation (bdi) for numbers, dates, and embedded cross-script terms.

3. Tested browsers and assistive technologies

Site accessibility was verified using automated testing (axe-core against WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA rules) and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing in the following environments:

  • Browsers: current versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari on desktop and mobile devices.
  • Screen readers: NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS and iOS) across Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, and English.

4. Known limitations and accessible alternatives

The mabitim.com storefront and all published legal documents are fully accessible. The customer web application (app.mabitim.com) is currently in pre-launch testing and will undergo a separate full accessibility audit prior to public release.

If you encounter any difficulty using the site, or if you need assistance joining the waiting list or receiving information in an alternative accessible format, please contact us through any of the channels below.
